With QuitKey, you can stop smoking without the use of chemicals or drugs.

The QuitKey is loaded with information to help you stick to your personalized quit plan.
How Does QuitKey Work?
The QuitKey computer is designed to alter your smoking routine and ease you off cigarettes in a gradual, step-down process. The discreet, handheld computer reminds you when to smoke and when not to smoke, step-by-step, hour-by-hour, one day at a time. Designed to work in two stages, QuitKey will create a personalized quit plan based on your regular smoking routine. The first stage lasts seven days. During this stage you smoke at your normal rate and use the QuitKey smoke button to record every cigarette you smoke. QuitKey compiles this data and uses the information to built a personalized quit plan. Stage 2 follows immediately and can last from 14 to 34 days, depending on the data compiled during Stage 1. During Stage 2, QuitKey helps you follow your quit plan by prompting you when to smoke. Each day you will smoke less and gradually reduce your nicotine dependence. With this gradual, step-down method you're preparing yourself to quit cigarettes for good, drug-free and without chemical-induced side effects.

The QuitKey FAQs
Quitting smoking can be a daunting prospect. Many have tried and failed, or tried only to return to cigarettes a few months, or even years, later. But don't give up, there is a smoking cessation program out there for everyone, and QuitKey has been proven as an effective way to kick the habit. Here are the answers to a variety of frequently asked questions about QuitKey and smoking cessation in general.

Will I gain weight?
Nicotine changes your metabolism -- the rate at which your body burns calories -- so quitting actually changes your metabolism back to "normal." If you are concerned about weight gain, simply try to limit your intake of high fat food and increase your activity level. Light exercise, such as walking, will not only help prevent unwanted weight gain, but it will also help you deal more effectively with the stress caused by quitting smoking. Try taking a short, brisk walk during the times when you used to enjoy a tobacco break.

What if I have finished the program and I start smoking again?
It is not easy to quit smoking. Some people need a second or even a third chance. You also might like to know that for most people, quitting smoking is like learning to ride a bike -- you don't just hop on and ride like a champion. It takes time and a little practice. Most people try to quit smoking at least once before they truly quit for good. You just had your practice, so don't give up, try again. The important thing is to not view each attempt as a failure, rather you should see each attempt as a step on the path towards success.

What if I cheat?
The process of quitting tobacco involves learning how to cope with the inevitable urges. When the urge comes along QuitKey recommends that you try one of the following techniques: drink a glass of water, call a friend, or take a walk. Your likelihood of success is much greater if you follow the program QuitKey has designed just for you. If you absolutely can't wait for the next tobacco prompt, be sure to press the Smoke button as soon as you light up. QuitKey will take this "cheat" into consideration and adjust the program if necessary.

What if I work and can't take a break when I am prompted?
Most people work and cannot take a tobacco break whenever they want, so QuitKey has a built-in mechanism that allows your program to stop and wait for you. However, QuitKey does advise that you smoke as close to the beep prompt as you can, and that when you do get a chance to smoke you should avoid making it a pleasurable activity. Don't combine smoking with drinking coffee, chatting with friends, or talking on the phone. Just take your break, smoke, and go back to your regular routine.

How long does it take to get the nicotine out of my body?
The answer to this question depends on a variety of factors, some of which you control. When going through the withdrawals of nicotine dependence, you should drink plenty of water to help flush toxins out of your body. Other handy tips include eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, and getting regular exercise. These extra steps will hasten the removal of nicotine from your body.

When compared with other smoking cessation programs, QuitKey offers the most benefits for a reasonable cost.

Smoke Free for 15 years

Review Date: April 21, 2006
Reviewer: Gary Tremper, Maybrook, NY USA
My husband bought this product for me as a Valentine's present in 1991. It was extremely easy to use. I smoked normally for seven days and and every time I had a cigarette, I pushed a button on the computer. After seven days, the computer calculated how long it would take me to quit smoking, and it would beep when it was time for me to have a cigarette. My family, friends and co-workers always asked "How long before your next cigarette?". I smoked my last cigarette at 2:00 p.m. on March 15, 1991 (the Ides of March!) and I've been smoke free ever since. This year I celebrated being smoke free for 15 years!

Last summer 2005 I decided to quit smoking. So I purchased the QuitKey. It is very easy to use. Actually for once in my life I could always find my car keys!! I followed the plan it was easy. I am now going into my 9th month of not smoking. I have not had one single drag off a cigarette. I also don't have a craving for one. After 30 years of cigarettes being a ball and chaing I am free from them!
Quit after 10 years of smoking and never had a cigarette since!!!

I got the original LifeSign as a present back in December of 2002. I had smoked for 10 years by then and was finally ready to quit. I wasn't a really heavy smoker, but smoked a consistent 10 cigs a day for 10 years (with more on weekends and at outings). I never tried to quit before LifeSign and was simply AMAZED at how well it worked. The beauty of this product is that it addresses both physical and mental sides of the smoking addiction. It weans you off physically by increasing the intervals between your cigarettes and it breaks your mental patterns by not letting you smoke at your usual pattern, but rather at scheduled times. That really breaks the craving pattern! And the whole thing is CUSTOMIZED directly to you, vs a standard fits-all approach of other programs. And it does NOT use any drugs!!! It's completely natural! The little machine calculates your patterns and the strength of addiction (how many cigs you smoke) and then comes up with the program tailored to just you. It even allows for "cheating"! If you can't follow the quitting program and keep cheating, all you have to do is keep pressing that button when you smoke, and the machine will adjust your program! To make a long story short, it took me 19 days to quit a 10 year old habit! 7 days for recording my patterns and 12 to quit. Since I quit I have not had a cigarette in over three years! I can't recommend this product highly enough!
This will change your life for the better and the new health you will acquire is priceless!
QuitKey is the most innovative product on the market for quitters!

I have smoked since I was 14 years old. For the past year, I've been trying to quit and I haven't been able to find a suitable method. I've tried the gum, the patch, the cold turkey syndrome...everything. Until, I came across QuitKey. I figured...it's just another tool, but at this rate, I'll try anything. So, I bought it and I got the hang of it after a few days. It's a great tool since it allows you to tell it how much you are smoking and then it will tell you when to smoke and when not to smoke. It's relative to the Pavlovs Dog's Theory. Everytime you hear the chime go off in the program you are supposed to smoke. After about 34 days, the chime never goes off again and you don't think twice about smoking. It's a great tool since the chime isn't like any other chime out there. I would recommend this product to anyone who has been trying to quit smoking forever just like I have been. Give it a shot!
It's Great

I bought this QuitKey for my husband. He has been trying everything to stop smoking and nothing was helping. I bought him this QuitKey and he started it just a week ago and it's been a big help to him. So far he is on his 2nd week and he is finally sticking to something and it's helping him. This LifeSign QuitKey is the best thing. If there are more people out there who want to quit smoking then they should buy this QuitKey because it works.
